The EcoAisle is an intelligent thermal containment solution designed to increase cooling system efficiency while protecting critical IT equipment and personnel. The Active Flow Control (AFC) availble in the EcoAisle provides the intelligence to communicate to the cooling system in order to right size the cooling airflow to match the load of the IT equipment providing a reduction in fan energy over conventional cooling systems. The Eco Aisle system adapts to varying rack heights, aisle widths, and rack depths to support either hot or cold aisle containment. The Air Return System of the EcoAisle provides a centralized hot air return path for room based CRAC/CRAH units or external air handling systems. The optional UL723s listed Fire Safe System uses temperature sensors to drop ceiling panels in the event of a fire. The Fire Safe System can also be used in conjunction with a field supplied smoke detector to activate in the event smoke is detected with the aisle. EcoAisle provides a safe and efficient environment for IT equipment and personnell incorporating additional features for high efficiency LED lighting with motion detection. EcoAisle can be deployed in zones or modules to gain the benefit at either the rack or row level.

The InRow Direct Expansion product design closely couples the cooling with the IT heat load. This design prevents hot air recirculation, while improving cooling predictability and allowing for a pay as you grow environment. Available in self-contained, fluid cooled, and air-cooled configurations with or without humidity control, these products meet the diverse requirements for closet, server room, and data center cooling. IT operators looking to improve efficiency or deploy higher density equipment will benefit from the modular design of the InRow Direct Expansion products. Room Air Distribution

Air ventilation for wiring closets.

Wiring closet heat loads are rising due to deployment of technologies such as VoIP and Power over Ethernet. Many closets where these technologies are being deployed are not designed with adequate air distribution. The Wiring Closet Ventilation Unit is a rapidly deployable wall or ceiling mounted air distribution and heat removal system designed specifically for the wiring closet environment. By exhausting hot air from the closet to an adjacent space, it allows conditioned air (entering through the Air Intake Grill) to cool the load. This budget conscious unit is an excellent alternative to more expensive air-conditioning systems, providing reliable heat removal with the capability to lower closet temperatures by up to 40ºF (22ºC). If plugged into a UPS, it can also be used as a back-up heat removal system to an already existing air-conditioning unit to maximize system availability in the event of a power failure. Dual fans increase availability while LED status indicators and dry contact outputs enhance the unit’s manageability. Selectable fan speeds allow the user to choose between maximum performances.

The Uniflair MB is a wall mounted cooling unit installed on the outside of a conditioned space, such as a telecom enclosure. These units are completely self-contained, meaning they are shipped completely charged and there is no need for a remote heat exchanger. These rapidly deployable units only require simple electrical wiring and mounting to the shelter. Available in a free cooling configuration, these units come equipped with motorized dampers to enable use of the outside air to help cool the IT space.

The speed control of the fans means airflow delivery can be tailored to the application, while the microprocessor controller provides precise temperature control.

Uniflair SP systems are split systems, meaning the evaporator and condenser are installed separately. The evaporator unit is designed to be installed on the ceiling or wall, while the condenser portion of the unit is mounted outside. Designed for ease of service, a different access is given for the electrical board, mechanical compartment, and fans. This means that calibration and servicing can be carried out safely. These units are available in free cooling configuration, when activated enables the use of outside air to help cool the IT environment.

The EcoBreeze™ air economizer is a pre-engineered and tested product designed to meet the expanding requirements for data center efficiency. EcoBreeze provides multiple modes of economization to maximize energy efficiency during the year. Additionally, it can utilize a supplemental mechanical cooling circuit to maintain the data center cooling set point on the worst of ambient conditions. Available in a 20ft (6m) or a 40ft (12m) ISO frame, the modular design allows for scalability in 50kW increments up to 400kW of total cooling capacity. The intelligent controls and redundant components of EcoBreeze air economizers maintain reliability and availability during constantly changing ambient conditions.
