| 1. VHIH 11kV Single Bus Bar VCB based metalclad switchgear
The VHIH switchgear incorporating vacuum circuit breakers offers the following ranges:
- Up to 12kV rated voltage
- 75 or 95kVp Impulse withstand voltage
- 630,1250,2000, and 3150A Nominal Current
- 20,25,31.5 or 40kA,3 second Short Circuit Current
The switchgear is designed and tested to IEC 298 and IEC 56 and has been short circuit proven at the independent laboratories of KEMA and ASTA.
Additional features include:
- Metalclad,fully compartmentalised
- Horizontal isolation,horizontal withdraw
- Fully rated fault make earthing switch
- Interlocked for safety

| 2. VHID 11kV Double Bus bar VCB based metalclad switchgear
Almost all the winning features of the VHIH are retained in the double bus bar version which is a natural extension of the single bus design. The cubicle has an additional bus bar compartment.The 'Main" and "Reserve" bus bars are selected by raising or lowering the circuit breaker by means of a jackscrew built into the breaker truck.
The VHID consists of the 630,1250 and 2000A ranges with a 20 or 25kA short circuit breaking

| 3. 12kV Ring Main Unit(GR1)
The GR1 ring main unit has been manufactured since the early 1970's and combines the tried and tested construction principles with state of the art insulation and current interruption techniques. The type GR1 range includes extensible and non extensible RMU'S rated at 12kV 630A with a 20kA short circuit breaking current.
The key features are as follows:
- SF6 gas insulation and current interruption-no fire hazard
- Maintenance free and sealed for life contact system
- Outdoor installation
- Robust construction
- Tee-off circuit breaker with integral protection system
- Low cost cable termination
- Fully extensible options

- Integral cable test facilities are incorporated in the ring switches

The GR1 includes a rotating arc circuit breaker which is equipped with current transformer operated series trip coils which will provide over current and earth fault protection.The standard current transformers will adequately protect distribution transformers of 200-3000kVA rated at 11kV.

| 4. TM8 Load break switch and circuit breaker switchgear
Tamco boasts of a comprehensive range of MV Fixed Pattern or modular distribution design in the
TM8 model. TheTM8 is supplied with voltage ratings of 12,17.5,24 and 36kV and impulse withstand voltage of 75,95,125 and 170kVp respectively with a current rating of 630A. The circuit breaker has a breaking current capacity of 25kA at 12kV and 20 kA at 17.5,24 and 36kV.
